The Executive Board

Lauren (Class of 2011) is from Boca Raton, Florida, and is concentrating in Marketing and Management. Previously she served as WW's VP of University Relations and VP of Publications. She is incredibly excited to be this year's President and would like 2010 to be the WW's most successful year yet. Her ultimate goal is to broaden alumnae, faculty, and corporate involvement in order to provide WW members with more resources than ever before. In addition to WW, Lauren is a member of Soundworks Tap Factory and a campus tour guide with Kite and Key.

Palak (Class of 2011) is from Staten Island, New York. Previously, she served as WW's VP of Marketing. Besides WW, Palak is also a sister of Sigma Kappa sorority and a member of the Wharton Transfer Association and Wharton Undergraduate Finance Club.

Alice Lee (Class of 2011) is a Finance and OPIM concentration from Bellevue, Washington. She previously served as Alumnae Relations Logistics Chair and 2008 Annual Dinner Chair. This year, she hopes to strengthen the club's alumnae network by improving the resources WW provides to Wharton alumnae. She also plans to increase opportunities for current members to interact with alumnae. At Penn, Alice is part of the East Coast Asian American Student Union conference board, the Penn Relay for Life planning team, and Sigma Kappa sorority.

Ann Wirry (Class of 2011), from Chicago, Illinois, is concentrating in Finance and Accounting. This will be Ann's first year as a member of the executive board, but she was has been involved in WW as former chair of the Corporate Liaison Committee. This year as VP of Corporate Relations, she would like to see Wharton Women continue to expand its sponsor base and to plan meaningful events with sponsors. Outside of WW, Ann is a Finance 101 TA, Ronald McDonald House volunteer, and board member of the Wharton Transfer Association.

Samantha (Class of 2012) is from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and is concentrating in Actuarial Science. This is her first year on WW's Executive Board, but she has been an active member on the Marketing and Publications committees. As VP of Finance, her goal is to allocate WW's budget to events that are valuable and beneficial to members and build long lasting relationships with both the Executive Board and members. At Penn, Samantha is also the Publicity Coordinator for West Philly Recess Initiative and is a writer for the Penn Course Review.

Carolyn (Class of 2013) is from San Mateo, California, with potential concentrations in Real Estate and Business & Public Policy. As VP of Marketing, she hopes to engage the entire Penn community in WW and increase awareness on campus as well as in the business world. Her goal is for every Penn woman to know that WW has something for her. Outside of WW, she is a member of the Media & Entertainment club.

Wendy Zhao (Class of 2011) is from San Diego, California, and is concentrating in Finance and Management. She has been a member of WW since her freshman year and previously served as the Logistics Chair for Membership Development. As VP of Membership Development, her goals are to increase membership retention, promote and strengthen member relations, and act as a liaison between the executive board and members. In addition to WW, Wendy is Junior Class President of Cohort Shekel and Manager of the Penn Men's Ice Hockey Team.

Gloria (Class of 2012) is from Redlands, California, and is pursuing a concentration in Finance. Her goals as VP of Operations for this semester are to increase member viewership for the newly-designed WW website and to keep information about WW current and easily accessible for members. Outside of WW, Gloria is Treasurer for the Tri Delta sorority.

Rachel (Class of 2013) is from Randolph, New Jersey. This is Rachel's first year in WW, but she has been an active member through working with the Dollar Diva Conference and other events. As VP of Publications, her goal is to produce consistent newsletters and publications that reflect the professionalism of WW. Outside of WW, she is a tour guide for the Kite & Key society.

Hillary (Class of 2012) is from Howell, New Jersey, and is planning to concentrate Marketing. Her goal this year as VP of University Relations is to expand the outreach between WW and the Penn community. Outside of WW, she is Director of Finance for the Alpha Phi sorority.
